Boo! Happy Friday!
This week’s feature spotlight focuses on Views. Views are a universal feature available throughout Amity to provide a quick and easy means of organizing information into lists based on criteria you specify. Creating, editing and deleting your own views are a snap with the view designer conveniently located in the Radar, Portfolio, Plan, and Lifecycle apps. Views can be kept private or shared with all users.
System Views
To get you started, Amity provides a number of pre-defined system views for that are shared automatically amongst all users.
In the Radar app:
- My Accounts
- Unassigned Accounts
In the Portfolio app:
- All Accounts
- My Accounts
- Unassigned Accounts
In the Lifecycle app system views are provided for each user.
How to Add a View
Click on the “plus” icon to open the View Designer window.
In this example for the Portfolio app a View is being created for “Unhealthy Trial Accounts”, as reflected in the Name field. The Description is optional but recommended to provide details on a view, especially if you are sharing it with the team. Filters are based on the type of information you are searching for. Using the Field/Operator/Value narrow down specific criteria for the data results you desire. You can have unlimited conditions for your View.
Once you click save your results will be immediately returned, in this case in the Account Summary Table. And for future use, your View will be found in the View dropdown menu.
Happy Halloween and see you next week!
